We Need Him

You see, we can’t get there on our own.

  • He said, “‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6.

  • Ephesians 2:8-9 tells us, “‘For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

But He made a way for us, providing this gift He offers freely.

Your Invitation

If you believe this is the path of truth, you can respond by receiving God’s wonderful gift of salvation today. Here’s how to take your personal journey:

  • Admit you are a sinner and the penalty for sin is eternal separation from God which means spiritual death. Romans 3:10, Romans 6:23.

  • Understand that the gift God offers through Jesus is eternal life. John 3:16, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, John 5:24.

  • Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross taking on Himself your sins. Romans 5:8, 1 Peter 2:24.

  • Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Christ. Romans 6:1-2, Acts 3:19-20.

  • Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, God’s free gift of salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9.

Salvation is by grace, through faith

There’s nothing you did, or ever can do, to deserve it. Salvation is a free gift from God. All you have to do is receive it!

Now What?

If you just received the gift of salvation in your life and are wondering what to do next as a new Christian, let’s hear from Pastor Barry Clark, out Lead Pastor at FRDM Church.

  • Tell someone about your decision. It’s important that you tell someone to make it public, secure, and firm. Find a brother or sister in the Lord and tell him or her, “Hey, I made a decision to follow Jesus.” Tell someone today if you can. It’s a great way to seal the deal.

  • Talk to God every day. You don’t have to use big fancy words. There are no right and wrong words. Just be yourself. Thank the Lord daily for your salvation. Pray for others in need. Seek his direction. Pray for the Lord to fill you daily with his Holy Spirit. There is no limit to prayer. You can pray with your eyes closed or open, while sitting or standing, kneeling or lying on your bed, anywhere, anytime.

  • Find a church and get plugged in somewhere.

We are so excited that you’ve decided to follow Jesus!

This means you’ve turned from your sin and placed your faith in Him, believing that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again to give you new life. This is the greatest decision you will ever make, and we want to walk with you as you begin this journey. Your next step is water baptism, a public declaration of the faith you’ve just embraced.

Water Baptism

We would love to celebrate with you as you take your next step through water baptism. Baptism in water illustrates Christ’s burial and resurrection in the same way it illustrates your new life as a believer.
